David R. Petkus

David R. Petkus, 70, of Stanton, MI, passed away January 2, 2012. David was born in Kinross, MI on July 28, 1941, a son of the late Dora Dale and Charles Petkus. David was a retired corrections officer for the state of Michigan in Carson City. David is survived by: Two daughters, Tammy Petkus (Paul Kamprath), of Grayling, MI; Linda Croad, of Stanton, MI; Five grandchildren, Tiffany Bean, Katrina Bean, Kasie Croad, Nathan Croad, and Nicholas Croad; One sister Patricia Monteroe, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews. Visitation for David will begin at 1:00 pm at the Markey Community Baptist Church in Roscommon, MI, on Saturday, January 7th, 2012. Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Kathy Murphy officiating. A luncheon will be prepared at the church following the service.
