David C. McClain

Mr. David C. McClain, 55, of Grayling, passed away on Friday, December 22nd, 2006 after losing a three year battle with pancreatic cancer at his home surrounded by family and friends. David was born in Grayling, MI on April 6, 1951, the son of Jerry and Wilda Josephine (Patch) McClain. He served in the Army National Guard for 27 years Federal Warehouse Tech. He married Gayle June (Post) McClain on June 12, 1972 in Grayling, MI David loved to go partridge hunting with his father Jerry, playing golf, and simply being around family and friends. He is survived by Wife Gayle and his parents, Jerry and Wilda McClain of Grayling. Daughter: Brandi (Serge) Varela of New Port Beach, CA. Brother(s): Paul (Janet) McClain of Roscommon, Greg (Julie)McClain of Grayling. His mother-in-law, Gloria Post and sister-in- law, Debra Sala and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of David's Life will be held on Sunday December 24, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Grayling with Pastor David Blake officiating.
