Charles Luther Kinsman, a proud and loving husband, father, friend and believer in Chirst Jesus died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Munson Medical Ceneter in Traverse City, Michigan. He was born April 10, 1941 in Flint, Michigan to Barney and Vera Kinsman. He married Barbara J. Mariucci February 16, 1964 and were married 50 years. He served in the 1st Force Recon of the U.S. Marine Corps (Vietnam Conflict). He moved to Oscoda, was V.P. of the Oscoda Chamber of Commerce, President of the Paul Bunyan Festival, lifetime member of the V.F.W., and owner (with his wife) of Bunyan Town Marina. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. One of his favorite things was spending time talking and enjoying his family and friends whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his loving wife Barb, his sister Marion, sister-in-law Betta, three children Tina (Daryl), Jeff (Laura), Francie (Paul), 5 wonderful grandchildren Brooke, Savannah, Darby, Mackenna and Noah. A memorial to celebrate his life and "Birthday" will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Lovells Chapel.
