Charles Edward Hale

Charles "Chuck" Hale was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Darlene "Dar" Hale; His children, Charles R. Hale, Matthew Lewis, Deven Lewis, Amanda Lewis, and Dakota Lewis; His grandchildren, Misty Lewis, Danyell Stefaniak (nee Thomas), Shawna Scully, Sara Hale, and Charles P. Hale; And his great grandchildren, Alexander Lewis and Cheyanne Case. He is predeceased by his daughter, Robin Scully (nee Hale) and Maxine Tuff (nee Thomas).
After working 30 years for General Motors in Southeastern Michigan, Chuck retired with his wife to their quiet retreat in the woods of Northern Michigan. Charles dearly loved the dogs that he had throughout the years - Willie, Coco, and, most recently, Chloe. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and "playing around" with his "toys" in his garages.
Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, in Grayling, will be hosting visitation on Thursday March 24th from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 25th at 11:00 a.m. The Fraternal Order of the Eagles will be hosting a luncheon at 1 p.m. following Services at 602 Huron Street in Grayling.
