Cecelia Cinciala, 96, of Grayling passed away on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010. Cecelia was born in Bay City, Michigan on June 5, 1913, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary(Golebrewski) Gatza. She married Joseph Cinciala on September 15, 1936. They were married for 33 years before he preceded her in death in 1969. Cecelia moved to Grayling area in 1939 She and her husband Joseph owned and operated the Grayling Restaurant between 1939-1970. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Cecelia generously volunteered her time and talents to many causes over the years. Some of the places she volunteered were Hartwick Pines and Crawford County Historical Society, and her church. Cecelia was proud to have earned her High School Diploma at 80 years old. Survived by Daughters: Joan Baker of Grayling. Mary Ann (Donald) Sagasser of Gaylord. Sons: Robert (Nancy) Cinciala of Grayling, David (Yvonne) Cinciala of Nevada. 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren Sister in law: Joan Gatza of Bay City. Preceded in death by parents, one sister and two brothers, son in law Larkin Baker, and grandson Michael Baker. Visitation will be held on Friday March 26, 2010 between 3-8:00 P. M. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. There will be a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Saturday March 27, 2010 between 9:30-10:45 am at St. Mary's. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday March 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grayling, MI. with Rev. Peter Eke officiating.
