Catherine Joyce Hunter

Catherine Joyce Hunter, 86, of Grayling, Michigan passed away peacefully Friday, October 27, 2017. Catherine was born in Port Huron, Michigan to Chester and Jessie Nelson on September 28, 1931. She is survived by children, Sandra (Cameron) Greig of Westland, MI, Donna (Joseph) Elrod of Kalkaska, MI, Charles "Bill" Hunter of Kalkaska, MI, and Cathy (Duane) Witherspoon of Rochester Hills, MI; sister, Donna Murray; 10 grand children; and 7 great grand children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hunter; son, Daniel "Otis" Hunter; brothers and sisters, Chester, Kenneth, Charles, Patricia, and Marjorie. A memorial service will take place for Catherine Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. A light luncheon will follow the service at the funeral home.
