Carole Joan Weaver

Carole Joan Weaver, 79, of Grayling, passed away on July 29, 2019. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 19, 1939 to the late Harry C. and Marjorie (Athens) Gilman. Carole married Dohn "Lee" Weaver in Frederic, Michigan on July 29, 1960. Lee preceded her in death on October 28, 2013 after 53 years of marriage. She enjoyed genealogy, many crafts, computers, reading, flowers and gardening. Survived by her daughters: Deborah (Alex) Young of Carleton and Tanya (Everett) Murphy of Roseville. Grandchildren: Michael, Mark, and Jennifer Murphy; Heather Saunders, Alexandra Weaver, Abrielle Young, Timothy Pulliam, and Julia Weaver. Carole was also blessed with 12 great grandchildren, a brother in law, 4 sisters in law, many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Sister: Barbara Waldorf of Grayling. Preceded in death by her husband and a son, Larry Weaver. Carole's family will remember her privately with a family gathering.
