Carole Anne Hallett passed away peacefully at the Grayling Nursing and Rehabilitation Community on October 16, 2013. She was born to Marguerite Whitchurch Bosley and Durward Bosley in Bridgeport, Michigan, October 15, 1934, who both preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Marvin E. Hallett. They were married in Houghton Lake, Michigan, June 10, 1952. Also surviving are three children, Richard (Rebecca) of Archbold, Ohio, Sheryl (Tim) Buron of Grayling, Michigan and Scott (Michele) of Buchanan, Michigan, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren, a brother, James (Maxine) Bosley of Ionia, Michigan and sister, Jacqueline Parham of Waynesville, North Carolina, a brother-in-law, Sam Hallett of Hastings, Michigan and many nieces and nephews. The greatest joy in Carole's life was being with her family and friends. Carole was an accountant and spent many years in that profession after raising her children. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Grayling, a volunteer for the Salvation Army and worked for many years with the Weight Watchers group in Grayling. Carole's wishes were that there be no formal funeral services. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home of Grayling. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grayling-Mercy Homecare and Mercy Hospice at 324 Meadows Dr, Grayling, MI 49738
