Carl G. Hatfield passed away on June 6, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his wife Rose, his parents Harold and Gertrude Hatfield, his 7 brothers and 1 sister. Carl was born and raised in Grayling and served as a medic in the US Air Force and was stationed in France for 4 years. Carl graduated with a Master's degree from Central Michigan University and taught for 28 years in the Grayling / Frederic schools. He was the owner of Potbelly Antiques in Grayling.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Elmwood cemetery in Grayling. There will be a get-together following the service at 6543 West 4 Mile Road, Grayling.
Condolences can be sent to his family at PO Box 623 Grayling, MI 49738. Donations made in his name can be sent to the Crawford County Commission On Aging.
