Bruce Alan Slais

Bruce Alan Slais, 49, of Lovells, MI passed away October 6, 2013. Bruce spent most of his years in Lake Tahoe, California and came back to live in Michigan in 2007. Bruce loved to hunt, fish, and be outdoors. He did a lot of skiing when he was younger and went on several hunting to trips to different states. He also was a very good golfer. Bruce loved to cook and was part owner in a restaurant in Lake Tahoe. He was a big fan of drag racing and worked for the John Force Team preparing food for the crew and guests. Bruce is survived by his father Bob Slais, step-mother Linda, brother Bob (Susy) Slais, sister Sue (Brian) Proulx, step-brother Steve Yates, nephews John Slais and Max Proulx, and Niece Jayme Slais.Bruce is preceded in death by his mother Judy and sister Julie. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 19, 2013 at 4:00 pm at the Mio Moose Lodge, 1631 Ryno Road (M72), Luzerne, MI 48636. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Luzerne A.A. 1178 E.
