Betty Burden (Groff)

Betty Burden, 80, of Lovells Township, passed away on Thursday August 15, 2013. Betty was born on June 23, 1933 in Pennsylvania. She married Jack E. Burden on September 12, 1959 at Evergreen Lutheran Church in Detroit. They were married for 43 years before he preceded her in death in 2003. Survived by: Daughters: Beverly Assimacopoulos of Taylor, Robin Whitney of Sterling Heights, Suzanne Burden of Decatur, MI. Sons: Thomas of Oklahoma, Donald (Wendy) of Lovells, Jeffrey of Novi. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother: Bud Groff of Taylor. Preceded in death by husband Jack and sons James and Jack. Gathering of Family and Friends to Remember Betty will be held on Tuesday August 20, 2013 at Lovells Township Hall. Interment in Lovells Township Cemetery.
