Bernard Roy Feldhauser

Bernard Roy Feldhauser, 99, of Maple Forest Township, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 24, 2020.

Bernard was born on July 9, 1921 to Christine and Robert Feldhauser of Maple Forest Township. Bernard was a WWII veteran and a proud member of the Auburn Hills Post #143 American Legion for the last 60 years. He was the owner of Feldhauser Associates. Land Surveying Company for over 60 years until he finally retired in 2017.

Bernard served on many boards in Oakland County, MI. He moved to Frederic permanently with his loving wife Alma Irene Henderson, of 59 years. He served as Trustee (2004-2016) on the Maple Forest Township Board, and was a member of the Crawford County Planning Commission.

Bernard enjoyed his gardens, hunting, and trips to town with the neighborhood "boys".

Bernard has two daughters, Joan and Priscilla, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

There are not enough words to describe our family Patriarch and the many lives he has touched. All that knew him personally or professionally can attest the his unprecedented willingness to learn and share his wealth of knowledge.

We will honor him in Spring of 2021 with a military graveside service and a Celebration of His Life.

Our beauty and joy forever will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, Dad, Grandpa, Pa, and Poppop.
