Andrew John Ferrigan, 65, of Roscommon, MI, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Andrew was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 28, 1949, a son of the late Mary Jane (Fox) and Edward Anthony Ferrigan. He served in the U.S. Army and then the Michigan National Guard, where he retired in 1996. He was a member of American Legion Post 106 and VFW Post. Andrew enjoyed coin collecting, cooking. and loved trains. He enjoyed traveling and accomplished traveling to all of the United States except Rhode Island. Andrew was also a great story teller. Survived by his brothers: Michael Hultgren of Grayling, Patrick Ferrigan of Grayling; Edward Ferrigan of Colorado; Richard Ferrigan of Grayling; Joseph (Pam)Ferrigan of Grayling; Timothy (Heather) Ferrigan of Oregon; Sister: MaryAnn Ferrigan (Gerard Brabant) of Roscommon; Stepfather: James Harris of Grayling Many nieces and nephews and his 'family' at the Brook of Roscommon. Preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, Cleo and Lillian Fox. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 between 3-7 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home and will continue up to the time of service which begins at 1:00 p.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow service at Elmwood Cemetery.
