Alfred L. "Fritz" Krey

Alfred "Fritz" Leroy Krey, 77, of Grayling, passed away at home, lovingly surrounded by his family. on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Al was born in Dimondale, MI on July 27, 1936, son of the late Janet (Mason) and Raymond Krey. Al married the former Nancy Schaibly on December 18, 1960. He was co-owner of Jon-Al Construction. Al enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, fishing, hunting for mushrooms, and good times with friends. Survived by his wife Nancy of 53 years. Children: Cindy (Bart) Munson of West Branch Tim (Laurie) Krey of Grayling Teresa Gothro of Grayling Valerie (Paul) Wilson of Grayling. Grandchildren: Ryan (Audrey) Munson Brad ( Alicia) Munson Kevin (Heather) Munson Julie (Jake) Sheltrown Heather Krey Christopher Krey Mason Krey Douglas Gothro Chad (Robin) Gildner Jason Wilson And 13 great grandchildren Sister: Audrey Robbins of Mason Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debby Krey; brother, Richard Krey and sister, Elaine Kring. A Gathering of Family and Friends to Remember Al will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 between 1-4 p.m. at American Legion Post #106.
