Alan Harvey Watros, 57, of Grayling passed away on Thursday, October 18th, 2007. Mr. Watros was born in Pontiac, Michigan on June 14, 1950, the son of the late Harvey and Joyce (Everett) Watros. He served in the U.S. Army as a SP5 in the Korean War. National Defense Service Medal; Parachutist Badge; Good Conduct Medal (2d Award); Expert (Rifle); Army Commendation Medal. He also served in the U.S. Army as a SFC He married the was the husband of Rose J. (Staph) Watros. 37 Daughter(s): Tammy Watros of Maple Valley, MI. Joyce Watros of Alpena, MI. Ellen (Calvin) Gossage of Mio, MI. Brandi Watros of Grayling, MI. Sister(s): Sherry, Elain, & Donna Brother: Bill Watros Preceded in death by parents, a sister, Ellen; brothers,Terry and Clint and four neices Visitation will be held on Saturday October 20, 2007 between 11:00 a.m.-2 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 20, 2007 Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly, MI.
