Aaron Richard Peterson, 30, of Traverse City, MI., passed away on Thursday February 24, 2011, suddenly, as a result of an auto accident.. Aaron was born in Grayling,, MI on November 16, 1980, the son of Alan and Ruby (Petersen) Peterson of Grayling. Aaron graduated from Grayling High School in 1999. He earned a culinary arts degree from Northwestern Michigan University. Aaron was currently employed at Big Boy in Traverse City. He was a member of the Traverse City Church of Christ and very proud of 6 years of sobriety. He enjoyed giving to charities. Aaron was a tender hearted young man who was very loyal to his family and friends and to his sports teams. Aaron was always very conscious of his dress. He wouldn't leave the house without an outfit that was coordinated from hat to shoes to jewelry. He loved his music and finding and restoring "treasures" -especially old watches. He made jewelry, was an excellent ping pong player. Aaron enjoyed Target practice and traveling. Survived by his parents Alan and Ruby Peterson of Grayling. Sister: Hannah (Joe) Fraam and children Emma, Ava, and Isaac of Cedar Springs. Brother: Stephen (Lisa) Peterson of Grayling with son Brett of Grayling Fiancé': Angela Murphy mother of Becca and Hannah of Traverse City.
